Associate degree in Social Services or prior social service experience preferred. Applicants must have considerable knowledge of social services available to low-income families; demonstrated ability to work in crisis situations; ability to work independently and as a team member; effective communication skills; must have driver`s license and reliable transportation. |
| Position Description: |
Responsibilities include recruiting eligible children; helping families to identify goals, strengths and necessary services; assisting parents in developing committees, attending all meetings; and transporting children and families in emergency situations. Position is 30 hours per week with benefits. |
