The Westbrook School System serves over 3,000 students with 500 certified professional and support staff in seven community schools. Our comprehensive educational system is nationally known for its music and art programs and is considered one of the finest academic programs in the state. We offer vocational education, alternative education and special education for our students. Westbrook High School offers 17 interscholastic sports programs and over 33 clubs and other activities. School Committee, administrators, teachers, and support staff recognizes the importance of high student aspirations and are committed to our belief that "The best education for all for life." We believe that every student can learn and succeed. Collectively, we strive for high standards in learning as we develop support and prepare our students to lead us into the future. Westbrook students score at or above the state average on the Maine Educational Assessment and other standard tests. Over 80% of our graduates continue in post-secondary education.
