MSAD/RSU 59, in Madison Maine, on the banks of the Kennebec River, is seeking a full-time principal for Main Street Middle School to begin on August 1, 2025, or as soon as available. The school houses grades 3 through 6 with approxinmately 160 students, and Kennebec Valley Multiple Pathways Academy which is an alternative program for at-risk students grades 6 - 12. The success of Madison schools is due in large part to the work of our exceptional faculty and the wide support consistently offered by our community. The next principal of Main Street Middle School will have the opportunity to build upon the school’s successes by working collaboratively with a cohesive leadership team across the district.
The successful candidate will demonstrate deep knowledge and expertise in leading and supporting teachers and understand how to design programming & operate a school to meet the needs of today’s students. The successful candidate must:

Maine School Building Administrator certification (040) and CHRC required.
