Position: Social Worker - Part TimeMust hold current Maine Clinical Licensure and CHRC certificate.Must be able to provide social skill instruction through individual or group sessions. Assist students in developing and using cognitive behavioral therapy strategies (CBTs).Previous experience in K-8 school setting preferred. Ability to collaborate with teachers and other staff in assisting students of all needs. Familiarity with Special Education Law preferred. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Sheepscot Regional Education Program is a Grades 7-12 regional special education behavior program located on the Wiscasset School Department Campus. It is an educational service provided by the Sheepscot Regional Service Center. Students from regional school districts who are members of the program are referred and transported to the program. The program educates students who struggle socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. The program provides pathways for a standards-based diploma, community outreach, mentorships, and onsite counseling.
