Falmouth Public Schools is seeking a school nutrition worker for a position to be assigned (based on need) between the three Falmouth Schools (elementary, middle, and high) in the cafeteria to serve students and staff nutritious and appealing meals in a sanitary and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:

Preparing, cooking or baking throughout the day;

Operate the Point of Sales Register;

Assist with lunch service;

Assist with daily clean up and dish washing;

Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the kitchen manager;
Qualifications:

Good customer service skills and a positive attitude

Ability to work quickly and independently and as a team member in a fast pace high school environment

Ability to plan ahead, multi task

Experience in scratch cooking and baking in a commercial kitchen a plus

Sanitation training or willing to attend training

Good math and computer skills

Ability to lift 40 lbs

Additional:
The schedule for this position is approximately 6 hours/day (7:30 am - 1:00 pm), Monday - Friday, school-year only.
Compensation:
The starting hourly rate for this position is dependent on experience. Scale range is $16.93 - $21.00 per hour. Position includes 100% District-paid single health, dental insurance and other benefits (leave time, employer-match retirement). An approved district-run background check is required.
