We are seeking a professional, energetic, and flexible Educational Technician II or III to support students and staff in a variety of classroom and schoolwide settings. The ideal candidate has a nurturing disposition; a collaborative spirit; and a desire to help wherever needed to ensure a positive and productive learning environment. Our chosen candidate will fulfill assignments with enthusiasm, have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and demonstrate integrity.
Responsibilities
- Support students individually or in small groups under teacher direction.
- Assist with classroom routines, academic support, special events, etc.
- Assume various cafeteria, recess, and door duties as assigned
- Provide occasional sub coverage for classroom teachers when shortages occur (A pay differential is applied after a qualifying number of hours.)
- Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications: Maine DOE Ed Tech II or III certification
Salary & Benefits: Compensation is based on experience and the applicable contract pay scale. Benefits, including paid sick leave, health insurance, and dental insurance available for eligible employees.
