Regional School Unit #4 is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill an open Technology Technician position.  This is a district wide position. This position will support the infrastructure of instructional technology including both hardware and software. 

Salary: Based on Collective Bargaining Agreement

Start Date: March 16, 2024

Qualifications: Minimum High School Diploma.  Technical Skills applicable to a range of systems and tasks.

Desired Qualifications: Post-secondary education in a related field.  Familiar with Apple, Windows, and Chrome products.

Responsibilities:

  1. Performs desktop system maintenance on Macintosh, Chrom, and Windows products.
  2. Installs workstations, laptops, tablets, and support devices.
  3. Performs hardware support including, receiving and installing parts.
  4. Troubleshoot in areas of protocol, traffic, and connectivity.
  5. Provides security on the network for users and data.
  6. Inventories equipment using tags and listing of user location, S/N, dates, notes, IP, etc.
  7. Provides infrastructure support throughout the RSU
  8. Remains current with changes in technology.
  9. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Director may assign
