Job Posting:  CDL Class B Range & Road Instructor/16-20 Hours per week

Job Goal:

Maranacook Adult and Community Education is looking to hire a part-time CDL class B driving instructor.  The instructor would be responsible for assisting students in learning how to drive CDL class B vehicles. The instructor would be tasked with providing each CDL student with 30 hours of one-on-one driving instruction, to prepare them for the state road test. The driving school has two school buses and a dump truck that are used to instruct students.

Qualifications:

  • Hold or be eligible to receive the necessary State of Maine CDL instructor certification (eligibility requires having a clean driving record, passing a DOT drug test, DOT physical and having driven a CDL vehicle for a minimum of two years).
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate with others using oral and written skills.

Pay: starts at $23.96-$25.31 per hour, based on experience.
