Job Posting:  Welding Instructor

Job Goal:

Maranacook Adult and Community Education is looking to hire a part-time welding instructor to teach evening classes from 6-8:30 PM during our spring and fall semesters. As this is a “hobbyist” class and not a certificate program, a welding instructor or teaching certificate is not required.

The class “An Introduction to Welding Basics” teaches basic welding for those wishing to learn more about the trade. Each class consist of approximately 30 minutes of instruction followed by 2 hours of hands on welding. While a teaching certificate/welding certificate are not required, preference will be given to individuals with those credentials.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate with others using oral and written skills.

 

Pay: Based on experience.
