Hermon High School is seeking a motivated teacher to join our faculty. This position is full time and will begin at the start of the 2024-25 School Year. Teaching assignments will include ninth grade Health and tenth grade Health and Wellness courses.

The successful candidate will join a department of collaborative educators who demonstrate positive, professional, and productive relationships with their students, colleagues, and greater school community. A strong understanding of adolescent health topics, the ability to differentiate instruction and the integration of technology is a plus.

Qualifications:
1. Certificate, license, or other legal credential required.
2. Degree(s) required and area of major study.
3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Committee may find appropriate and acceptable.

Reports To: Building Principal

Job Goal:
To develop in each pupil an understanding of the relationship of good body function and exercise; to motivate each pupil to cultivate a healthy lifestyle, physical fitness, hygienic habits, and good social and emotional adjustment.
