Job Title: High School Educational Technicians I, II, III High School Resource Room Educational Technician III

Supports direct academic and behavioral instruction to high school students individually, in small groups, and in classroom settings
Perform non-instructional, non-evaluative functions
Help students master equipment/instructional materials assigned by the teacher
Provide classroom management functions
Assist with supervision of students during emergency / fire drills, assemblies and field trips
Provide escort and assistance to students as necessary
Work cooperatively and positively with coworkers and supervisors
Participate in in-service training programs as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising special education teacher, principal, or Director of Special Services
Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for Education Technician III Certification from Maine Department of Education and CHRC fingerprinting.Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC MUST be uploaded as part of your application to be considered.
