CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
Anticipated Start Date: August 19, 2024
The school districts of MSAD #49, RSU #18, Waterville, and Winslow are conducting a search for a Clinical
Supervisor. The Clinical Supervisor will provide professional guidance and support to each district’s team of School
Counselors and will play a crucial role in creating a positive and supportive school environment, contributing to the
overall success and well-being of students.
Primary Responsibilities
? Schedule and facilitate monthly meetings with K-12 School Counseling teams from MSAD #49, Waterville,
and Winslow Public Schools, and 9-12 counselors from Messalonskee High School
? Maintain availability to consult with individual counselors throughout the school year
? Provide support to the school community in response to a critical event
? Build a relationship with area counselors founded on professionalism, confidentiality, and mutual trust
? Communicate as needed with district administration
Qualifications
? Currently licensed to provide clinical services by the Maine Board of Licensure as an LCPC or LCSW
? Working knowledge of relevant educational laws and regulations including FERPA, HIPAA, Chapter 117
? Familiarity with Special Education, 504, McKinney-Vento, and Multilingual Learner processes
? Demonstrated understanding of school-based guidance as an integral part of public education
? Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
? Knowledge of current counseling theories, techniques, and best practices.
? Professional, cooperative, and respectful of the beliefs, opinions, and confidentiality of others
