Good Will-Hinckley has an immediate opening at our Glenn Stratton Learning Center for an Ed Tech III and certified BHP or willing to become BHP certified during the 2018-2019 school year. We are looking for a motivated and energetic team oriented individual to join the Glenn Stratton Learning Center Day School on our campus.
This person will work with classroom teachers and clinical staff to provide individualized academic and behavioral support to students. The candidate must be willing to with students with significant social-emotional and behavioral challenges.
The Glenn Stratton Learning Center Day School (GSLC) offers educational services to students in grades kindergarten through twelve. Individualized and small group instruction is geared to Maine State academic standards is provided within a consistent behavioral structure and therapeutic milieu. Through a child centered, collaborative team approach, each student's academic, behavioral and social-emotional needs are considered.
We are conveniently located approximately 30 minutes north of Augusta between Fairfield and Skowhegan on Route 201.
Candidates must possess a Behavioral Health Professional certificate or be eligible to obtain this credential (90 college credit hours and 28 hours of training.) Experience working in education, social services or a related field is strongly preferred. Authorization as an Education Technician III is a plus. Solid professional references, background and health check, and a valid Maine Driver’s License are required.
