Substitute Teachers/ Support Staff & Nurses
Job Goal: To enable each child to pursue their education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular teacher. W
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Education (preferred)
- Willing to train college students and applicants with a true desire to make a positive contribution to RSU #38/
- Approved by State Department of Education as a substitute teacher;
- Demonstrated aptitude and competence of successful fulfillment of assigned responsibilities
- Displays a philosophy that is compatible with that of the school district
- Such alternatives as the school committee may find appropriate and acceptable
Salary:
Teachers: $125.50/day with degree/$115.50/day non degree
Specialized/Day Treatment Teachers: $136.50/day
Support Staff: $16.50/hour
Specialized/Day Treatment Programs: $19.50/day
Nurses: $150.00/day

Certification: Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) Teacher Certification or Educational Technician Authorization
