Mid-Maine Technical Center is a regional, technical high school serving students from Lawrence, Messalonskee,Waterville, and Winslow High Schools. Our Educational Technicians are critical members of the MMTCInstructional Staff and are expected to support students in their technical programs of study. Preference will begiven to candidates with experience in college counseling or Outdoor Leadership.The Ed Tech Position? School year position (183 days, including in-service days)? 35 hours per week? Provide support to the instructional staff and students.? Assist with the implementation of IEP accommodations and other modifications? Assist with the supervision of students during applied learning activities? Assist with the coordination and implementation of center-wide programming related to academicachievement and support? Participate in all staff meetings, in-service training, and professional development as assigned? Serve as a role model for students by maintaining high standards of professional behaviorQualifications? Certified as a Level III Educational Technician through the Maine Department of Education? Relevant education and work experience? Strong academic, interpersonal, and organizational skills? Strong initiative and willingness to work independently? Able to work and communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and visitors? Cooperative, patient, and respectful of the beliefs, opinions, and confidentiality of others?
