Description

The St. John Valley Technology Center has an opening for an Electrical Construction Instructor beginning 2024-2025 school year.  

Candidates must be content area knowledgeable, motivated, possess strong interpersonal/communication skills and be a team player.  We are seeking an Instructor that will motivate student learners to excel and work in the electrical trades.  A State of Maine Electricians Master certification is required to qualify along with 5-years professional experience in the field.  Once employed, the Instructor is required to obtain the appropriate educational certification and endorsement (#820) to teach the area of content study.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, wiring, and installations, and will be responsible for delivering comprehensive instruction in electrical trades to students enrolled in our vocation programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Journeyman Electrician required or Master Electrician license preferred.
