Description

Falmouth Elementary School is seeking a compassionate and creative individual to serve as a PreK-5 RTI Behavior Educational Technician III. The candidate will work collaboratively with the RTI behavior teacher, classroom teachers, and the learning strategist to provide Tier I and Tier II behaviorial supports in grades PreK-5. 

Together, with the RTI-Behavior teacher, the candidate will assist with developing behavior plans, student goal setting, coordinating schedules, and facilitating data collection. Primary work will focus on implementing behavior plans and providing movement breaks. The ability to establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a supportive learning environment is essential. The candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and the desire to develop positive relationships and connect with students.


Built in 2010, Falmouth Elementary School (approximately 900 students K-5) is housed in a state-of-the-art building located on our 100 acre district K-12 campus.  Our campus features extensive fields, trails, gardens and hoop house, and opportunities for collaboration between schools.  Over the past three years, each of our three schools in the district has been a recipient of the National Blue Ribbon Award:  student achievement is exemplary and the community takes great pride in all academic, co-curricular, and athletic accomplishments.

Qualifications:
Candidates must be eligible for the Maine Education Technician Level III authorization through the Maine Department of Education, as well as an approved district run background check.

 

Additional:
Pay will be based on relevant experience and DOE certification.  Pay rate  is $20.88 - $26.25.  A generous benefits package includes the following:
