JOB GOAL: - Special Education Teacher of Severely Impaired Students (K-12)
Job Summary: The ASD teacher will implement an intensive instruction model, using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as directed and supervised by staff trained in this methodology. The teacher is responsible for planning instruction and adaption of the general/special education curriculum to accommodate students in the learning process. The teacher will also function as the case manager for students with individualized education programs (IEPs) and oversee their compliance. It is the expectation that each duty will be performed effectively throughout the school year.
