The St. John Valley Technology Center has an opening for Welding Instructor beginning 2024-2025 school year.
Candidates must be content area knowledgeable and certified, motivated, possess strong interpersonal/communication skills and be a team player. We are seeking an Instructor that will motivate student learners to excel and work in the welding field. Any four of the twelve American Welders Society (AWS) certifications are required to qualify. A minimum of 5-years professional experience in the field is required for consideration. Once employed, the Instructor is required to obtain educational endorsement (#836) to teach this area of study.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive instruction in welding techniques and fabrication processes to students enrolled in our vocational programs.
