Two openings are outlined below: (one is 35 hours per week and other is for 20 hours per week)
CLC Site Coordinator/Program Assistant (Elementary) 35 hours per week $22-$25 per Hour Position ends June 30, 2024
Responsibilities:
*Oversee all daily program operation, including snack, homework help, enrichment activities and busing.
*Plan, develop, and supervise a varied program of hands-on educational enrichment activities.
*Be present and actively engaged with students during program hours.
*Collaborate with school-day staff to identify and recruit qualified students.
*Make certain that all forms (referrals, enrollment forms, etc.) are completed for every student.
*Maintains accurate records of daily attendance, snack count, student records, and daily center activities.
*Ensure and maintain proper teacher-to-student ratios.
*Develop system for regular communication with families, staff, and community partners.
*Communicates with families and school-day staff regarding student enrollment, participation, behavior, and progress.
*Foster the development of family partnerships. Plan and lead required family events.
*Assist the Director in all aspects of mandatory reporting, including the annual Site Quality Improvement Plan and weekly maintenance of the 21st CCLC database.
*Meet regularly with Project Director, other Site Coordinators, and site level staff.
*Attend a minimum of four Professional Development activities.
*Assist in developing newsletters and brochures for students, parents, school staff, and community members.
*Assist the Director in scheduling and coordinating field trips, special guest visits, and family events.
*Participate in the CLC Advisory Board, assisting with sustainability efforts.
*Serve as a liaison between 21st Century Community Learning Center and the School Committee, and Community Partners.
*Promote Auburn CLC in the Lewiston/Auburn Community through community outreach.
CLC Site Coordinator (Elementary) 20 hours per week (Times vary depending on the site) 2 pm to 6pm
Responsibilities:
*Assist the Project Director with program development and implementation
*Oversee all daily activity at the center
*Responsible for student enrollment, attendance, and all center activities
*Communicates regularly with site staff through meetings and email
*Foster collaborative relationships between school staff and afterschool staff
*Creates a supportive and engaging environment that fosters a sense of belonging for youth
*Gathers all necessary materials and equipment for program activities
*Schedules, monitors, and evaluates the effectiveness of the team, including volunteers, community partners, and service contractors
*Maintains accurate records, keeping the DOE database current in all areas
*Required to attend mandatory staff meetings and training
*Fosters positive relationships between the program and participants’ families
*Communicates regularly with families through email, texts, phone calls, and newsletters
