RSU 68 is an equal opportunity employer

RSU 68 is a small, yet incredibly active school district located in the bustling county seat of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. RSU 68 services students in Sebec, Dover-Foxcroft, Monson and Charleston and that is where our school name SeDoMoCha originated by a former student and current employee.

The district proudly works in partnership with the communities, and students and staff members are often seen participating in local events. We are a four-season area with several lakes for those who love fishing, boating, and swimming; mountains for hiking with breathtaking views and a variety of activities, such as the Whoopie Pie Festival, community theater, several 5 K’s, a new ice hockey arena with free skating time, an art museum featuring local artists and, of course, the Piscataquis County Fair. There is always something going on in our diverse and exciting community!

SeDoMoCha houses close to 700 students from PreK-8. Our mission states that we will support students in their personal, academic, artistic and athletic growth. The SeDoMoCha staff is excited to offer a wide variety of opportunities for student learning, including a STEAM club for those students interested in coding and creative problem-solving; middle school metals, ukulele and elementary and middle school drama for those interested in the arts; intramurals and middle school sports, including golf and unified basketball, an outdoor club for those excited about kayaking and ice fishing, and a new reading club for students who love to have engaging book discussions. Students have the chance to be engaged in their learning and involved in the school community as active citizens that are kind, safe, organized, accountable, and respectful.
