Spring 2024 Long Term Substitute - Speech and Language Pathologist

Rate of pay: $224.18 per day

Preferred candidates will demonstrate the following criteria, experience and/or abilities:

  • Maine certificate, 293 endorsement and current CHRC approval
  • Valid CCC-SLP preferred, or on track to obtain CCC-SLP license within one year 
  • Experience conducting developmental screenings, speech and language evaluations, and observations in an educational setting
  • Schedule and provide speech/language therapy and consultation services
  • Consult regularly with school staff and IEP team members to discuss student progress, needs, and recommendations
  • Contribute to pre-referral intervention teams to support RTI methods
  • Collect and analyze data to support individual programs and progress monitoring 
  • Provide special education case management services including completion of special education paperwork and procedures, such as IEPs, diagnostic evaluations, progress reports, and Mainecare billing requirements (for those eligible).
