Occupational Therapist – District

Qualifications:

• Holds current Maine State Criminal History Records Check
• Certification Required: State of Maine Occupational Therapist License

Description: 

• Provides occupational therapy services as specified by student IEPs.
• Ability to provide individual and group services in a variety of settings and models.
• Communicates with case managers and school staff.
• Conducts observations and evaluations and provides written evaluations in compliance with Chapter 101.
• Makes appropriate recommendations for goals and services based on LRE and provisions of FAPE.
• Writes and maintains required records and reports for therapy to meet IEP and other regulatory requirements and timely submissions.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an IEP team and school staff.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
