RSU #16 is looking for a Physical Education Teacher to work with students at Minot Consolidated School and Elm Street School. A successful candidate will:
- Be committed to students and their learning.
- Have experience implementing a comprehensive PE curriculum for students in kindergarten through 6th grade
- Establish a learning environment in which students are safe, respectful, and responsible
- Use differentiating approaches to meet individual student needs and engage all students in learning activities.
- Be a positive and collaborative team member in support of school improvement
- Collaborate with special education staff in developing individual physical education lessons appropriate for students of varying age and functioning levels.
- Hold Maine State Certification in Physical Education (510).
