Surry Elementary School is a vibrant school committed to fostering a nurturing environment where students from Pre-K through Grade 8 thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Located in the Blue Hill Peninsula Community of Surry, Maine, Surry Elementary School serves approximately 135 students and their families in the Coastal Hancock County region. Surry Elementary School values academic excellence, creating a safe and nurturing environment for all, and being a strong community partner.
As the Pre-K through Grade 8 Principal at Surry Elementary School, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students and fostering a culture of excellence within our learning community. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader with a deep passion for education, a commitment to academic rigor, and a drive for continuous school improvement.
Qualifications:
- Maine Building Administrators Certification (040)
- Master’s Degree
- Prior experience preferred
