AOS 98 is seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as the Teaching Principal at Georgetown Central School starting in the 2024-25 school year.
Georgetown is a K-6 school with approximately 55 students and 20 faculty and staff.
The position will begin on or about July 1, 2024.
Interested candidates will:
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess knowledge of effective instructional practices
- Encourage cooperation and collaboration among staff, students, parents, and community members
- Develop and implement a shared vision for student growth and achievement
- Preferably have familiarity with Expeditionary Learning and/or experiential learning
Qualifications:
Current Building Administrator certificate (040) from Maine DOE
