Mindfulness, Nature, Evidence-based Programming Oriented

Location: Rockport & Camden, Maine

Organization: Atlantic Academy, Inc.

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available

Pay: Range is $19.00-28.00 per hour, DOE

Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, and 401(k) for full-time staff

About the Position

We are seeking Education Technicians (Ed Tech I, II, or III) who are student-oriented, positive, and dedicated to helping children thrive.

As an Ed Tech at Atlantic Academy, you will:

  • Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and clinicians to implement individualized academic and behavioral plans

  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and behavioral skills through positive, trauma-informed strategies

  • Incorporate mindfulness practices and outdoor learning experiences into the school day

  • Assist in classroom routines, small group activities, and outdoor exploration


What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Maine Department of Education Ed Tech certification (I, II, or III)

  • Experience or interest in working with students with behavioral or emotional needs

  • Team-oriented, compassionate, and dependable

  • Eager to learn and grow within a collaborative environment

  • Must pass a background check

 

(BHP certification a plus — training available for qualified candidates.)
