TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Full-time, district wide position with occasional evening and weekend hours, as necessary
The Technology Support Specialist’s duties include resolving technical issues, maintaining hardware and software installations, and improving those systems.
Successful candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot multiple technology issues and be able to implement solutions in a timely fashion. Must have the ability to install, configure and maintain various systems such as laptops (Apple, Microsoft, Chromebooks), iPads, projectors, cameras, sound systems and live streaming setup for classrooms and administrative meetings (YouTube & Google Meet). Front line technology support experience and strong customer service skills are required.
Qualifications: Upon hire, you will be required to obtain a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) from the Maine Department of Education.
