Serving Maine’s Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members.
MSAD 75 is seeking a First Team Girls Soccer Head Coach at Mt. Ararat High School to join our vibrant educational community. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with the Varsity Head Coach to implement a comprehensive girls soccer program.
- Work collaboratively with other program coaches, parents, boosters and youth organizations.
- Provide positive leadership while teaching and modeling good sportsmanship during practices and games
- Provide adequate supervision and management of team members during practices and games.
- Use current best practices to teach and develop soccer skills, maintaining athlete safety.
- Consistently report game results to Athletic Director and appropriate media outlets.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior high school soccer coaching experience preferred.
- Current CPR/AED certification, or ability to attain.
- Current Sports First Aid Certification, or ability to attain.
- State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
