Camden Hills Regional High School, a state-of-the-art energy efficient facility that includes a wind turbine and solar panels, serves 710 students in grades 9 – 12 from primarily five surrounding towns. The school offers an incredibly expansive array of educational experiences for students and is dedicated to hiring and retaining a high-quality, diverse staff.
We are seeking a dynamic and resilient Special Education Teacher at Camden Hills Regional High School to partner with two other special education teachers to work with children with mental health, behavioral and socio-emotional disabilities in the school-based day treatment program. Training and experience in providing positive behavior interventions and supports for students in both special and regular education settings is a plus. The teacher will be responsible for case-management, inclusion, consultation, and supervising Educational Technicians. Experience working in day treatment and collaborating with outside agencies is preferred, as is a desire to use the outdoors as a classroom.
Final Candidate must have certification 282 or be working toward this certification.
