Advanced Technology Instructor

The St. John Valley Technology Center in Frenchville has an anticipated opening for an Advanced Technology Instructor.  Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize work tasks effectively.  A Master's Degree desired but not required, a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent is required.  Once employed, the Instructor is required to obtain the appropriate certification and endorsements (#823) to teach the area of content study.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering cutting-edge instruciton in emerging technolgies, including but not limited to computer hardware and software, robotics, automation, and advanced manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Engineering, Robotics, Education, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in teaching, information technology, networking, advanced manufacturing, robotics, automation, or related fields.
