Description

We are seeking an experienced, energetic Preschool Teacher at our Norway Early Learning Center to work as part of a classroom management team planning activities to meet children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development, and supporting parents in meeting their children’s and family’s needs.  This position is 40 hours/week, 38 weeks/year. To Qualify: A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field, Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of three years’ supervisory experience is preferred; a minimum of five years’ experience in early child care and education is preferred.

 

Other Requirements:  Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others.  Pre-employment SBI, DMV, DHHS, fingerprinting, sex offender registry and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment; physical exam and TB screening are completed upon hire.  Must have a valid driver’s license; telephone; competency with Microsoft Office; ability to function autonomously and as part of a team.
