St. Thomas Catholic School in Sanford, Maine, is seeking a dynamic teacher who works as a team player to actively engage students in meaningful learning experiences while following the highly acclaimed and rigorous Diocese of Hartford Curriculum. The successful candidate should possess strong classroom management and differentiation skills. A practicing Catholic is preferred.
This position is being created in response to large enrollment in the current third grade, and is a part-time (daily hours approximately 8:00-12:00) position for this spring. If enrollment within this grouping is maintained, there may be a need for this to become a full-time position in the fall. What a terrific way to get acquainted with our school!
Qualifications: Maine DOE Teacher Certificate and CHRC fingerprinting are required. Protecting God's Children and additional background screening must be completed before beginning work.
Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
