Description: MSAD #58 has an opening for a part-time Food Service Cook at Mt. Abram High School. This position is available January 2, 2024.
Job Summary:
This position is part-time, 5 hours per day Monday through Friday, 175 School days plus up to 2 workshop days at the discretion of the Food Service Director.
This position is responsible for assisting and supporting the Food Service Head Cook in the daily operation of the food service program in that building. They will provide direct assistance and support for ensuring proper nutrition of meals, safeguarding the health of students, staff, visitors, and meeting all requirements of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
Qualifications:
The Food Service Cook must be ServeSafe certified. They will also need to have a current Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) on file from the Maine Department of Education.
