Title: Multilingual Learner Instructor
Reports to: OOB/Saco Adult Education Director
Job Goal: To provide instructional services for adult education MLL.
Terms of Employment: This is a part time position during the academic year consisting of 5-10 hours/week (evening) at a rate of $25/hr. No benefits are attached to this position.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in education or related adult education field.
  • Experience working in Maine Adult Education programs.
  • Experience working with adult education learners and specifically Multilingual Learners.
  • Proficient in the use of digital classroom/office tools and web based learning/communication platforms.
  • Positive, collaborative, assiduous, creative, and passionate about adult education.
  • CHRC
Performance Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic instruction for MLL.
  • Participate in a PLC for MLL instructors.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of aligned curricula for MLL.
  • Deliver contextualized instruction geared toward developing employability skills.
