Andover is a small town in Oxford County, Maine with a population of approximately 820. It is located in the popular ski areas of The Western Maine mountains and crossed by the Appalachian Trail. The Andover Elementary School provides educational opportunities to children in grades Pre-K thru 5. Students in grades 6-12 have choice and may attend a number of schools in this area.
The Andover Elementary School has a part-time(1 day per week) Pre-K thru 5 Art Teacher for the upcoming 2022/2023 school year. The successful candidate will demostrate being student centered with a strong grasp of content knowledge, including best practices in Art instruction, an understanding of standards-based assessment, and the ability to use technology in instruction and to support the mission of the school.
Must hold a valid Certification and current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education. Position will close when suitable candidate is found.
