Limestone Community School, located in Limestone, Maine, is seeking to hire a Facilities and Transportation Manager beginning July 1, 2019. Responsibilities include managing the combined Limestone Community School and Maine School of Science and Mathematics buildings and grounds, as well as the supervision of the plant operations and transportation staff. He/she is responsible for the preventive maintenance, repair, cleaning, safety and upkeep of the physical plant, grounds and school vehicles, utility support, construction planning and oversight, manpower and facility backup for school events, dealing with outside vendors and supply companies, and for ordering maintenance supplies.
The successful candidates should possess a current Class B motor vehicle license and CDL endorsement, maintenance and experience, and be able to perform a variety of tasks that will change as situations warrant.
