Morrison Center is looking for an Ed Tech III to join the strong team in our special purpose preschool program. Our program offers individually based programming for children ages 2½ to 5 years old. We maintain a 2 or 3 to 1 staff to student ratio in this program, which serves students with a variety of disabilities, including autism, physical disabilities, cognitive disabilities and behavioral challenges.
This self-contained preschool class has the potential to integrate with the existing preschool program. The Program role models and teaches acceptance and friendship among all. The staff is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of licensed/certified special education teachers, educational technicians, physical, occupational, speech and language therapists and a school nurse.
This is a full time position located at the Buxton Center Elementary School, working 7:45am – 3:15pm.
Ed Tech III Certification as required by the State of Maine
Experience working with children with disabilities.
BHP Certification preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly wage dependent on experience starting at $15/hr. Morrison offers a generous benefit package including health and dental with minimal employee contribution.
