Title: Food Service Assistant - Fairfield and Pre-K
To serve students nutritious and attractive meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.
Assisting Manager and Cook with preparing meals for elementary and Pre-K students
Delivering meals to Pre-K buildings and classrooms
Use computerized Point of Sale system
Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Ability to work effeciently in a fast paced team environment
Ability to lift 40 lbs
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards
Works in standard school cafeteria environment
High school diploma or GED
Must have or be eligible for CHRC (Criminal Records Check) with Maine Dept of Ed and background check
Successful prior experience in food service helpful
FLSA Status: Nonexempt This is a school year position working 7:45 am to 12:30 pm, 4.75 hours a day
