Nobleboro is looking to hire a Girls' Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The team includes students in grades 6-8 (sometimes 5th grade if needed).
Nobleboro is part of the Busline League, and the basketball season will start mid-November and go through early February. Candidates must have a CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) and have been fingerprinted prior to the season starting. This is a stipend position, paid at the end of the season.
Anyone applying should have some experience with the sport of basketball, have an interest in working with this age group, be a positive influence on the team, and place a strong focus on individual skill and team development, as well as having fun and helping the players learn how to develop into successful student athletes on and off the court.
Applicants should also have good communication skills to be able to manage the challenges of working respectfully with not only middle school students but also parents, other coaches, athletic directors, and referees.
If interested, please fill out a non-teaching application available on the AOS 93 website and send it to Michelle York, Athletic Director, at Nobleboro Central School.
