Working with a Team
The Westbrook School Department is seeking a full time Special Education Teacher for our Functional Academics program. The position will require providing instruction for students in grades 5 and 6 with a range of functional academic and executive functioning needs within the special education and general education settings. The teacher will be working with two other teachers within their team. The qualified candidates will be given: competitive salaries and benefits, three college courses paid each year (University of Maine rate), continued professional development, and opportunities for summer employment. The candidate will become part of our devoted, friendly, and collaborative special education team.
Special Education
Westbrook School District Special Services Department provides student-centered instruction to support the diverse learning needs of students districtwide, in grades kindergarten through high school. Westbrook Middle School
