ED Tech II - Georgetown Central School 

 

Georgetown Central School is looking for a qualified individual, to fill an ed tech II position. The ed tech II  position would require supporting students, as well as classroom teachers in grades 3-6. The ideal candidate must have experience working with regular education students, as well as students with disabilities. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Works with individuals or small groups of students providing curriculum support, including the introduction of new learning preplanned in collaboration with the teacher or appropriate classroom specialist, with indirect teacher supervision (i.e., meets with the teacher on a regular basis - daily if possible)
  2. Supports students with instructional and assessment accommodations and /or modifications.
  3. Monitors & communicates student performance and behavior to the supervising teacher.
  4. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.
  5. Other job related duties as assigned by the administration

Qualifications:

  1. An ed tech II certification through the state of Maine, or a teaching certificate 
  2. Experience working with students in a school setting
