2024-2025 Middle School Teacher (2 positions: ELA & Math)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in specific area of teaching. 
• Holds appropriate Maine Department of Education Certification. 
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, parents, community, and school personnel. 

St. Thomas School in Sanford, Maine is seeking faith-filled, energetic middle school teachers to plan and deliver exceptional instruction to students in grades 5-8. The two open positions are in the areas of math and English/language arts. The middle school teacher will ensure that all students develop the knowledge, skills, and habits of work and learning to become lifelong learners and productive members of society, steeped in faith. The individual should be knowledgeable about assessment practices and using data to inform instruction. The candidate should have experience establishing a positive classroom culture and be willing to contribute to a collaborative, collegial staff environment. We look forward to you joining our team!
