Special Education Resource Room Teacher

MSAD #61 seeks an organized, flexible, energetic, and innovative teacher able to work well in a fast-paced collegial environment. In addition to Maine Certifications (282, K-8), the ideal candidate possess knowledge of and experience with:

• Working with students with disabilities
• Programming for academic, social, and emotional needs of elementary-aged students with disabilities
• Writing quality IEPs in a timely manner
• Communicating in a clear and effective manner with students, staff, parents, and guardians
• Working as part of an integrated team
• Supporting and supervising one or more educational technicians
