SPECIAL EDUCATION TRANSPORTATION:
VAN DRIVER
Anticipated opening September 8, 2026
The driver, along with the van monitor, is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting students with special needs to and from school. This role requires patience, strong communication, and attention to detail to ensure the well-being of passengers who may have diverse physical, cognitive, behavioral, or medical needs.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License
- A clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is typically preferred.
Proper Maine DOE certification and background check required for all positions
