The Margaret Murphy Centers for Children (MMCC) is a special purpose private school serving children pre-k through high school ages with developmental disabilities and emotional disorders. Students of MMCC receive individualized educational and behavioral services provided by a team of clinical and educational professionals and providers. Under the supervision of certified Special Ed teachers and Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBA), and using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), School Based Behavioral Health Professions (SB-BHP)/Ed Tech II’s work one on one with students to meet educational and behavioral needs.
MMCC continues to expand and grow! We have openings throughout our Lewiston and Auburn locations! We are looking for professionals who are dedicated, compassionate, creative, and disciplined to join our team. This is a year-round teaching position which offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for comprehensive clinical experience and training. Starting pay ranges between $13 and $16 per hour, pending experience, with full benefit packages provided! MMCC provides paid trainings, clinical supervision, and also has an established graduate school cohorts provided on-site though USM! Career advancement opportunities available!
Qualifications: 60 college credits or associates degree required for an Ed. Tech II position. Preference given to those with experience in the field, although not required. Educational Technician II certification and School-Based Behavioral Health Professional Certifications and additional trainings will be provided through employment at MMCC.
