RSU 64 is seeking qualified applicants for a Social Studies vacancy at Central High School. The successful candidate will be committed to facilitating learning and growth in students in grades 9-12 in the content area and will have a keen interest in becoming an integral member of the Central High School professional staff. This teaching position is for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond.
The successful candidate will have:
Demonstrated prior successful experience as a teacher of students in grades 9-12;
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team;
Demonstrated knowledge of a standards based system of education;
Demonstrated content knowledge in the area of social studies to include history, geography, government, economics, etc.;
Current Maine certification; and
Current Maine CHRC
