Dean of Students - Elementary Outlying Buildings

RSU3 is seeking a Dean of Students to support the principal of the four (4) outlying elementary schools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

-Oversees the building(s) discipline program.  
-Oversees PBIS program  
-Provides consistent behavior and discipline interventions.  
-Manages truancy interventions and plans.  
-Works collaboratively with parents and students.    
-Maintains all necessary paperwork.  
-Oversees student incentive programs.  
-Attends IEP meetings as needed.  
-Participates in Safety Care training.  
-Participates in Social, Emotional Professional development and programming
-Collaborates with school counselors, nurses, and other staff members on student issues. 
-Collaborates on student data meetings.  
-Completes all other duties assigned by the building principal. 

Qualifications:
Teacher Certification Required
Minimum of 5 years experience teaching in the elementary level preferred
