Our Children Services Department is seeking an Infant Toddler Specialist/Home Visitor to work with families of young children birth to age three and expectant parents at our Chisholm Early Learning Center in Rumford. The Infant Toddler Specialist/Home Visitor’s responsibilities include providing home visits with parents to utilize their teaching and parenting skills within the home environment. Additionally, the Infant Toddler Specialist/ Home Visitor is responsible to ensure quality programming by designing and participating in delivering developmentally appropriate classroom activities. Other responsibilities include completing paperwork and reports and maintaining records and data on individual children. The full-time position is 40 hours/week, 52 weeks/year. Qualifications: Must have a minimum of a CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program. Experience in an early childhood setting is preferred and a minimum of two years home visiting experience is preferred. Must obtain and maintain current CPR/First Aid certifications.
Other Requirements: Pre-employment SBI, DMV, sex offender registry, fingerprinting, DHHS and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment. Must have a valid driver’s license, telephone, computer/word-processing skills, preferably Microsoft Office; must be able to function autonomously and as part of a team
