2024-2025 Music Teacher (½ time position)

Qualifications:

• Degree in music education, music, or related area.
• Holds or is eligible for Maine Department of Education Certification. 
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, parents, community, and school personnel. 

St. Thomas School in Sanford, Maine is seeking a faithful, passionate music teacher to develop and execute a robust music program for students in grades PK-8. The successful applicant will have a vision and enthusiasm for helping our students engage with all aspects of music and performance. The individual will plan and execute two music concerts per year and will lead middle school students in singing weekly at Mass on Wednesday mornings. The candidate should have experience establishing a positive classroom culture and be willing to contribute to a collaborative, collegial staff environment. We look forward to you joining our team!
